I have read dozens of threads concerning this problem. The vast majority point to over-heating of any number of critical components. Using monitoring Software such as MSI Gaming and AMD Overdrive I can honestly say that is not it. While playing multiple games such as Fallout 4 or the Division, my computer will shut itself down. I have to switch the PSU off in order to turn it back on. This is a new occurrence after replacing my motherboard (old one wouldn't boot even to bios). I check the event viewer and I get an event ID 6008 as an error and event 41 as critical.

I have updated my chipset drivers, my GPU is running the latest drivers. My PSU is only a month old as well as my motherboard. The CPU, RAM and GPU are almost 1 year old.

At the moment my software stopping recording at shutdown my GPU temp was at 49c, fan speed 1545RPM, Core Clock 1316 MHz, Memory Clock 2025 MHz, Memory Usage 2056 MB, CPU Temp 29c, CPU usage 33%, RAM usage 4891 MB, Pagefile usage 7884 MB. Below are the computer specs.

Nothing stands out as odd when I look through the BIOS but this is a new motherboard so I could be missing something. I do not have anything OC'd, either the CPU or the GPU.

I played these games just fine prior to my motherboard having problems and needing replacement. I feel this is a software issue but am unsure at this point. I would greatly appreciate any help.
