I bought the card second hand. It came with the box but didn't have the power adapter where you plug two six pin connectors and on the other end you have 6 + 2 pin connector that go into the 8 pin power slot on the PCB of the card.

My PSU is 900 watts, it has loads of 6 pin connectors but not the 6 + 2 pin connectors.

I checked the internet for the adapter that comes with GTX 970 card but the closest thing i could find to it was this 2 x 4 pin molex male connector to 6 + 2 pin power connector

My question is, would this be suitable replacement for the 6+2 pin adapter ? or would i need specifically the 2 x 6 pin connector to 6 + 2 power connector ? If that is the case, can someone please share a link with me where such adapter can be purchased. I really don't want to be buying a new PSU as this one has already costed me good few dollars

Kind Regards,

Jesus. I didn't realize it was that old.
I may get a new one if that's the case.
I'll order one online.

But in the mean time, would the above posted cable do the job for a week or so while i await and order new PSU ?
