My brother and I have been having nat type issues for as long as we have had the ps4s on the same network. His runs in nat type 3 and mine runs in nat type 2. We absolutly can not connect to the same party. I'm trying to find a fix so we both have nat type 2. I called playstation they told me to call my isp. I called my isp and they told me to call playstation.
Why is this even a problem?
Would a second router work?
Would connecting a ps4 pro to the 5G network work?
EDIT: i have port forwarded my brothers and set static IP and switched his DNS to google now he is in NAT 2 and i'm in NAT 3
