2011 MacBook Pro High Sierra
I am having trouble with both my USB and microSD ports. When I plug storage devices (external hard drive and SD cards) into the ports, Finder recognizes their existence but I am unable to access them. When I try, a window pops up stating, "“STORAGE DEVICE NAME” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found."
I have tried restarting my computer, relaunching Finder and using Disk Utility.
Any idea what the problem is?
Apple support has been completely useless and google searches have come up with nothing.
