USB resets after computer restarts

I just changed my motherboard and everytime I shut down my computer (every night), I turn it on the next day and it resets my usb-plugged devices (mouse and keyoard). The reason I know this is that the color of my keyboard changes to the default and my mouse sensitivity is reset. It used to not do this with my old motherboard. I downloaded/installed all drivers. Motherboard is MSI Z270 Gaming Carbon Pro.

How do I do that? When I looked it up, there's no way to run an activation troubleshooter, and I don't want to buy another copy of Windows.

A clean install via Activation? Nah

I'm talking about a clean install where you download the Windows installer to a thumb drive and a complete NEW install. Then use your windows key to validate.
