Good day
Am building a pc with an overclocked i5 and a gtx 1070 , am building it in a corsair carbide 540 air and I need a fan controler that can fit in the cd/dvd drive bay easily. Also am wondering if I have to change the fans or add fans ,also , I want to know if it is better to install my corsair 110i v2 on top or in the front?

Solution
U can connect the fans to ur mobo fan header. 1 fan header can control 2 4 pin fans. U can control them via mobo settings.
Or u can try some corsair pmw fans with a corsair commander pro and control it via corsair link software.

Your H110i can be mounted either in the top or in the front on the Air 540. Top mounted will allow fresh air to be blown in for cooling your GTX1070. You can control both fans included with the H110i through the pump with Corsair Link, but if you want to control additional fans, I'd recommend purchasing the Corsair Commander Pro. Comes with 6 PWM ports for fan control, 2 LED ports, thermoster connections, and utilizes the same Corsair Link software.
