Hi, this is my first thread, so if I did something wrong, please do tell me! Thanks. Anyways back to what I wanted to know, I just got my Corsair AX1500i power supply and on the manual it says to connect my EPS12v connect to the motherboard but on my motherboard it has the EATX12v, I was wondering if it is okay if I put the EPS12v in the EATX12v slot.

PC that I am building:

Motherboard: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING
CPU: Intel i7 7700k
RAM: 64GB DDR4 2400MHz
GPU: ASUS ROG 1080 Ti [x2]
PSU: Corsair AX1500i
SSD: Samsung EVO 500GB
HDD: 4TB WesternDigital HDD or 4TB Seagate HDD

Also how do I change my name, this name is cringy!

Solution
Hi,
"I was wondering if it is okay if I put the EPS12v in the EATX12v slot."
Yes, but the board might need a BIOS update for supporting that CPU.

Perfect! Thanks for that, and yes I am aware that I will need to update the motherboard. Thanks so much for your help! :)
