Hello Tom's community, I bought a new PowerColor RX 580 8g to upgrade my computer for video games. Before I would use the Radeon HD 6950 which works perfectly fine. My problem is that when the new card is installed and I turn on the pc, I get a black screen and also no power to the mouse or keyboard.
I have to say that I've researched a lot and haven't really found an answer, I know how things work but I'm also kind of a newbie. I would really appreciate the help!
My system specs are:
Dell XPS 8500
i7-3770
16Gb ram ( 4 4gb sticks )
Corsair CX550M
I upgraded the power supply since I was just using the stock one before, I've used DDU to uninstall the drivers and tried the new card, I've tried taking out most of the ram and unplugging unnecessary things to see if I was running low on power but I dont think that's the case because I am still getting a black screen, but I'm not sure anyway. I need help, I just want it to work and be able to enjoy my new toy
