MSI B350 CPU EZ Debug LED

Hey guys, so I have just a quick question in regards to this. I'll make clear that I do not have a gpu, or monitor installed. But, I did want to ask why the CPU led comes on with the motherboard. Am I able to understand fully why until I have those parts to see POST? Is it a bios update that is needed?

Here are the parts I have installed:

Mobo: msi b350 gaming pro

CPU: ryzen 5 1400

RAM: 2x4 gb of ballistix sport 2400

PSU: evga 500w

Like I said no gpu or monitor. Just wanted to check and make sure everything was working properly. All the fans spin and the LED lights come on, but the CPU debug LED is on as well.

Hey did you getting ur gpu fix the problem i’m currently building one and i don’t have the ram and both the ram and cpu lights come on so i’m wondering if thats the problem

Not yet, waiting for tax return time to get a good one. I read online that it could be an issue with the BIOS. But the new updated versions of the mobo should be fine. I purchased mine back in October, and the bios update prior to that had it able to run Ryzen 5. So, I'm hoping it will work fine.
