Chrome Crashing/Really Slow after new update

Hi Guys,
I updated my chrome to Version 63.0.3239.84 and then it started to become very laggy and slow top open web pages. It even crashed my computer. Can someone help me fix this please.
The thing is my internet is all good. It works well on IE11

Check any APP's you may be running in Chrome which can be causing problems with the updated version. Try disabling them one by one to see if it helps.

Then i would recommend going back to the previous version of Chrome. If there is no way to roll back, just download the previous version and install again. Perhaps after a month Google will have fixed whatever issue is causing this problem.

How would I go back to previous version.

First try running a portable version of the latest Chrome browser. [an executable file you don't need to install] Just run it off your desktop.

My Windows Version is 7 Professional , with Service Pack 1

Can you be more specific about the exact name of your motherboard? There is not just one Ultra Durable 7 series motherboard.

That is the motherboard model. Gigabyte Ultradurable, series 7.

I have been experiencing the same exact thing. Most recommendations are to enable hardware acceleration. When I do that, my mouse disappears in Chrome.

It worked after a while and now it is doing it again... HELP ME!!!!
Is there like a Google Contact Number, I sent Feedback but no-one is helping me. I live in Australia.

What DNS server address are you using? Is it a reliable server.

I believe so. How do find out which one I am using. I think it's ppp over Ethernet. I am in Australia with ISP named TPG.
