Hi!

I need some help with what parts that I should upgrade first with my current build.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H, Socket-1155
Intel Core i7-3770K Processor
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4GB
HyperX Fury 240GB 2.5" SSD
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz 16GB CL9
Chieftec Super Series 650W PSU

These are the components I have today, but I am experiencing preformance issues with newer games like pubg and assassins creed: origins. Which parts should be switched out first?

Thanks in advance.

your processor is a bit old but still pretty good for gaming
(overclock it if you haven´t done it already : but not with the stock cooler of course ,
you will need at least CM 212 evo or better yet scythe mugen 4/5)

biggest problem is your graphics card :
it won´t play new AAA titles at ultra even if you are using "only" 1080p resolution .
if you are looking for meaningful upgrade you gonna need gtx 1070/1070Ti ...
anything less powerful is not worth the trouble of getting a new gpu over gtx 970 ...

Thank you for the quick answer. How about the motherboard and RAM? Is this something you would consider changing at the same time, since they are so old?

true ... if you are considering changing motherboard
you might as well start to consider a brand new build
since with new motherboard you will also need ddr4 memory and new processor .

i think you will be fine by just upgrading your graphics card and overclocking your CPU for now .
