CPU 8700k + Kraken x62 280mm Water Cooling
Asus Maximus X Hero
and G.Skill 16GB 8x2 4133 RAM.
Not like I was hoping to get 4133 itself, but cannot get some stability even at 3200.
Tried bunch of guides and sources, VCCSA and VCCIO even went to at max 1.5 (it was 3600-4000 attempts) but srsly people are getting stable result 3600 with 1.35.
Also DRAM voltage set up to 1.6.
CPU not delidded, honestly its my first overclocking experience. CPU OC - 5000, tried DRAM OC without CPU OC as well. CPU Temp goes to 85C Max, 70 AVG in game only (ultra)
Can someone advice kinda stable setup, may be I have to properly set timings or whatever. (its 19-19-19-39 at XMP 4133), but as I said I would be glad for 3200 and totally happy for 3600. There are no other XMP profiles so I have to use Manual mode and set things. If I load XMP 4133 and change DRAM Frequency to lower - not stable as well
Just want to get in games with no doubts after buying such a pc
And can I somehow check why exactly it fails - I usually end up with BSOD during some shooter (10-15 min after start heavy load). And check bios - there VCCSA and VCCIO are higher than set.
And yea,Im ready for try/test/figure out whats best for my chip and setup, but honestly, all people say different things, about whats important, whats safe limit voltages, and most of all would be nice to get some staff explaining what are the main factors which makes dram fail, what parameters have affect on it so i can try play with them.
