The dual channel mode wont enable. When I only have one of the 2x4gb ram sticks installed it says 4gb ram installed. But when I install the second one, it says 8gb installed but only 3,97gb usable. I checked with CPU-Z and it says that im running in single channel mode. Is there a way for me to enable the dual channel mode?

Do both sticks work properly? Have you tried using 1 stick and interchanging? You might want to run MemTest on both individually while you're at it.
Also make sure you're using the 1st and 3rd RAM slots on your motherboard, this is how they're meant to be installed.
