Hi I'm having an issue with my brothers computer. He's running a fx8150 on a prebuilt liquid cooling kit by ek. The pump in the kit is run by a 4 pin fan cable. For some reason there is an issue where the pump does not always run on start up causing the cpu to overheat and read a f.f code. I previously owned this motherboard and cpu and never had an issue with the cpu_fan header not outputting power(I ran a corsair h110i) and it worked everytime on start up. Is there a bios setting that needs to be addressed that will make sure the cpu_fan header always puts out power on startup? What should I Do?

There is a Rampage III Formula MB and Crosshair V Formula Z. Identify the correct MB.?
Most ASUS MBs have CPU_FAN and CPU-OPT headers. Both do the same.
Try testing using the CPU_OPT in case of CPU_FAN header failure. Make sure the cables and connections are OK .
CPU_FAN is always active and no Bios changes for that.
