My Hp Probook's 500GB HDD failed. I removed the old and replaced with a 1TB drive. I can't get past the memory check now. I tried to put in the Windows 7 Pro recovery disk, but can't get past the first prompt.
Should I have done something while the old HDD was still in prior to switching? It's
my first time doing this, I'm pretty lost! :/

Solution
Try enter bios setup by pressing f10 keys or esc key and see the option that tell you to enter setup utility. After that, search for load default configuration/settings/value in bios, then save and exit. Please tell me about the progress after it reboot
