Hello, since it is getting close to Christmas I was looking for parts that I would be using to upgrade my PC. I got this PC last year, and really have no trouble with FPS or anything of that nature even on max settings for most games. The problem I seem to be running into is multi-tasking and big open world games. Whenever I am trying to run a web browser, discord, and a game at the same time, my disc usage is always sitting at 100% and making everything extremely slow. As for large open world games like Battlefield 1 and GTA 5, I get these random freezes, where like every 5 seconds my game will freeze for 2 seconds, unfreeze, 5 more seconds, freeze again. I think this problem is due to me only having 8GB of ram, but I wasn't sure if that was the case or not(This happens on even the lowest graphical settings, 200 FPS but constant freezes). I was just wondering what I should be upgrading on my computer because I'm just running into this bottlenecking problem and I don't really know what to change.
My specs:
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB VRAM
Memory: 2x4 GB DDR4 RAM
Motherboard: MSI B150M Bazooka Plus (MS-7A46)
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600 @3.30GHz
Hard Drive: Toshiba DT01ACA100
Power Supply: Not sure on exact model, is 600W's though

Thank you to anyone who can help!

Solution
8 gb ram is fine, CPU still pretty good, too much trash in OS is a potential cause.
1. reinstall your OS,
2. clean dust off your pc including case filters using compressed air, do not use other stuff.
