Hey all...

Current Spec:
Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3
Ryzen 7 1700 @ 3.5Ghz 1.3v "stable"
2x4GB Corsair Vengence LPX 3200 @3200Mhz 1.35v (XMP off)
MSI Gaming 390X 8G
Powercool 850W 80+ PSU

Hopefully owners of my spec above or similar might be able to help.

So my problem is.....When I first power on the system, it won't post initially. The CPU LED on the mobo is lit up, fans spinning, and no RGB lighting on the Wraith Spire or mobo. I am unable to switch off the system from the front panel switch. Suggesting the OC is to blame...At first I was clearing CMOS, but I concluded that when I switch of the PSU at the back and unplug it....leave it for a minute or two, then switch it back on.....the system will boot and load OS.. I can continue to use without issue. The CMOS config and overclocking still intact.

Thing is, once I power off the system and ,or restart....it will not boot again. I have to disconnect the PSU again, and drain the flea power before it will post. Somewhat annoying.

Any ideas what this could be? I'm suspecting the offset voltage on the CPU/RAM OC.... or else the PSU is flaky....however when it is booted, it appears to be stable CPU about 65-70c max. Any suggestions for maintaining this OC? since it seems to be semi-stable. Just this initial boot issue.

Hey Lutfij, Yeah I have it on the very latest F10b bios.

Safe to say I'm not happy with the current PSU...it's a leftover from a crossfire setup which I'm only using for the 2x8Pin PCI-Es that the 390X requires....I have my sights set on an EVGA 650W P2 Platinum

It does sound like inefficiency on the initial power draw doesn't it?
