So i lately have built my own Gaming pc. I finished today and only tomorrow am i receiving my ram. So i am like ok lets turn on the pc and see of the fans turn on when i put the PSU in the socket. Strangely enough nothing happens in the pc. I only get one light on my GPU and my peripherals did light up (Mouse, keyboard). I am not sure if this is ok. Tis is the first time i am building my pc and i just want to check because it seems slightly weird. What shall i do? Wait for my RAM sticks or is this not supposed to happen. Does a Motherboard Work with no RAM?

Ok Thanks For The Help Btw One More Question, I don't have ram so the motherboard shouldn't function however even without ram the Graphics card Seemed To have Power because There Was a small white light. Is this an internal battery in the Graphics Card or is it normal that the GP always gets power even without ram. And anyway i shall wait until i have all parts and try this out.

So you are saying with all parts the CPU fan and all fans will spin?

Yes, they should.

Your GPU (Graphics Card) has a power socket that gets power from your PSU (Power Supply). That's why the light comes on.

I understand that the power light should be on because there is a separate plug into the GPU however even when i removed that the light became Red instead of white so there must be some sort of power being saved for like 30 seconds in the GPU... NAyways i will try your suggestion tomorrow as i will receive my last part. Thank You So Much!
