i just noticed my power supply fan is facing down even tough there are only small lines that dont really allow much airflow

its been like that for 2,5 years and so far nothing went wrong but i just thought id ask here just to be safe

Solution
There are slits there, which should be sufficient (although not ideal) for the PSU.

Whether face-up is a viable alternative, depends what you've got the case populated with - if you have a GPU blowing a low of warm air into the case, pulling in warm air would likely be less ideal that the limited (cool) intake.

I have a blower style gpu, so i guess its fine because i'll get another case before i upgrade my gpu

The big fan on your PSU that is facing the bottom is the Intake fan, and it exhausts out the rear of the tower.
This is the common way nowadays, however, better tower cases use a removable screen (for occasional cleaning)
that is large and otherwise unobstucted.
Since you can't monitor PSU temperatures, try feeling it while you're gaming to see if it's getting pretty hot.
With your current setup, of just slits, it is likely that dust is getting into the PSU and not helping. What I would
personally do is remove the PSU and blow it out with compressed air. I would also bend the slits so that they are
open more (or bend them back and forth and see if you can snap the whole indentation out). If you go that route,
you will want to add a screen. You could actually glue a section of aluminum or nylon window screen that you can
get at the hardware store, and glue it to the bottom of the case. Just remember to vacuum it occasionally.
