I bought a MSI GS63VR about a week ago and it just now started to randomly turn off. I have not dropped it, I have only been playing video games and doing work on it. It turns off at random intervals. Usually it will be fine for an hour then turn off, then I need to close it and re open it and turn it off. Usually after I turn it on after it's shut off it shuts off right at the log in screen. I have already tried doing a factory reset and re installing windows. What do you think could be the cause of this?

Probably there is some mistake in the configuration. Its better you call up the technical support person and inform them about this issue.

Update the BIOS and also update the Firmware EC..
It worked for mine.
Make sure yours is the 7RF you can check this at the bottom of the laptop... if not than just look up whichever model you have on that website.
Read the documents and make sure you follow every step to the T.
