I am very confused because I have only created on PC before but never with all these gpu's. I was wondering if it is possible to put 10 rx 570's together and have them all working together properly. If that is possible, what kind of power supply would I be looking at? This will all be on windows 10. Anything suggestions or comments will help!

And you factored in the daily cost of electricity in this?

10 GPU's is a very much non-standard parts list. You'll have to cruise around the specific mining forums elsewhere, and see exactly how other people built theirs.

You need to do a whole lot more reading and research.

Exactly why you need to do a LOT more research.
Why 10 of those GPU's? What did you read that told you 10 was a good number to have? Why not 8, or 15?

I was trying to go for the most mh/s for the price. I was using whattomine to figure out how much profit I would be making and seeing how long it would take for me to make my money back. It was about 150 days of mining ethereum while it is at this price and difficulty. I am not to worried about the resell value on the cards in a year from now. I know I should be getting a server PSU and a seperate PSU for the motherboard and such. I just don't know which one will be compatible and what kind off cords and attachements I need. I am on a budget of $3000 right now and I think I can overclock the cards to run about 25 mh/s each. The only thing that I don't understand now, is what server power supply and cords should I be getting to run 10 rx 480s?

Last question... Are there benefits to setting a rig up with 8 rather than 10? I'm just confused because it seems the higher the hash rate the better. Thanks for help

I just said "8 or 15", because there is no specific 'number' that is optimal.
The more GPUs, the greater the power consumption.

Research.

But this type of thing is what you're competing against:

Personally I would just buy a bunch of GTX 1070 Ti. Use CCminer and mine the hell out of BTG, Monacoin and Vertcoin. No one is buying them because it just came out. Basically a 1080 for the price of a 1070. I'm getting $5 per card.

$3000 will get you 6 cards pulling in $30 a day. Easy money.

But before you do that, you need to research whats best for you. 10 Rx570 can run off a 850watt PSU if you lower the TDP. Or maybe you want to go balls to the wall, than a 1200watt is needed.

Ccminer is just the software for mining? You can then hook that up to pools by inserting the ethermine web address in there? May be a dumb question, still trying to figure this all out...
