I have just purchased all the parts for my first pc build
part:
MSI x370
ryzen 1700x
GTX 1070 windforce oc
evga 750 80 gold
32gb ram - 2 x 16gb g-skill
h60 liquid corsiar
seagate 2tb
zxt razor 340
external optical drive
the issue - no signal to pc/tv via hdmi, and dvli
issue - gpu light cpu light on for 5 seconds, then goes off no lights showing. then vga light flashes before boot light permanently on and gpu light appears again
tried so far. complete dismantle and rebuiild. 1 ram first no gpu-dram light 2 rams - dram light off gpu light on. switched gpu position.
double checked all cables going into board such as power light for cpu and motherboard
didnt come with a computer sound thing so ordered one en route but wont arrive for few days.
checked cpu position and any bend pins- none.
Unable to load any bios to update driver for 1070 graphics card
have checked "check before asking" page and done all checks except replacing expensive components. tried 600watt corsiar from old pc i know currently works, still no luck
Any and all constructive help welcome, i have been searching for a solid 18 hours now and still no luck
only idea left is to return motherboard and cpu but dont want to do unless last resort as freshly unboxed and waited weeks for everything to arrive
