I5 8600k processor cooling

Hey guys so I’m buying the new i5 8600k and the new motherboard, the auros gaming 5 motherboard. But I already have a cpu cooler and I’m wondering if it will cut it for the cooling. Here’s the link

Now I’m not overclocking or anything just standard, so will this work?

And yes, that will be perfectly fine to adequately cool an 8600K.

I would want more than a 92mm fan cooling the 8600k , get a Cryorig H7.

At stock speeds there is nothing wrong with it. OCed it might give some problems with noise, but it will certainly do the job (i.e. adequately cooling the CPU).

You have the wherewithal to try it and see how you do.
If you find the cooler to be insufficient, as I think you will if overclocking, then look for something better.
If you will be overclocking, I would look for a cooler with more capability.
A good starting point is the noctua TDP guide.
