Ok! I am planning to build a new PC because my current pc.. is.. potato asf. So far I am getting these components:

  • GTX 1050 ti (Graphics Card)
    i3 6100 (CPU)
    ASUS H110M-D D3 LGA1151 DDR3/DDR3L micro-ATX Motherboard
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR3 1866 MHz Memory (RAM)
    Crucial MX300 SATA M.2 1TB (SSD)

I am now hunting for cases or if I should even buy one.. (Low-Medium Budget PC)
and was wondering if this build will even work, if not and if yes, what can be possible improvements? (Low-Med budget components pls..)

Are you getting the i3-6100 just to be able to pair it with a budget motherboard? If so, this is one place where going up just a little will pay *huge* dividends. Intel's new i3-8100 has 4 physical cores for $15 more than the 2-core -6100. Z370 motherboards for the -8100 start around $110 and will give you the option of upgrading to the 6-core/12-thread -8700K if you want, when it gets cheaper.

I agree with Night Owl, the 1TB SSD is a bit excessive. Downgrade to a 500GB, spend the difference on the CPU and motherboard, make sure you get dual-channel DDR4 RAM, and you should have a pretty powerful machine.

You say low-mid budget, but what is the price point. I can help much better with a price in mind.

Just by looking at your list, I can tell you not to get the TB SDD. That is waaay too expensive for your budget. Just get a WD Blue HDD.

Let me know your price point and I can help you more.

Good Luck!
