Alright so my system is:
Gigabyte Aorus GA z270 k7 motherboard
EVGA 1080 ti SC 11gb graphics card
I7 7700K processor
16gb of g.skillz ram.
1tb Samsung ssd

So, the issue I'm having is my computer turns on fine without the graphics card installed. Now, I currently have my monitor hooked up via hdmi to my motherboard. There is a VGI connection potential directly to my graphics card. I'm wondering if maybe I need to buy a VGI -->HDMI cord for it to work? And yes my motherboard is running F7 bios. Everytime I try to run with my graphics card installed. Three things happen:
1. No display on monitor at all.
2. RGB leds on motherboard do not light up.
3. Motherboard throws many codes (C2-5).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
Please mention PSU.
And also try to give more detail info about components, like all installed components
Probably you will have around 8-12 components in number.
Also note one thing, GTX 1080 Ti uses 250 W of Power at loads.
Phillip is very much sure about that, so he mentioned.
Please verify the same. Or give us list of full components.
