Turned PC off as it was going into Setup

Hi guys, so today I installed a SSD, obviously after turning on and disconnecting my old hard disk I turned it on. It then obviously gave me the option to boot from the USB or SSD, or enter setup. I chose setup so I could fiddle around a bit, however after about 10-15 minutes it was still just a black screen. Being the impatient idiot I am, I decided it would be a good idea to just turn it off. However, now when I try to turn my PC on I get completely nothing, no lights, no noises, anything. Now I'm assuming I've bricked my motherboard which isn't the end of the world as it is a cheap gigabyte motherboard, however I was wondering if there's a possibility this hasn't happened/way to fix, or if it's likely I've caused even more damage than the motherboard?
Thanks Guys :)

What SSD it was - SATA or M.2? If former - check both data and power cable if they were properly connected. I latter - make sure it was well placed into M.2 slot.
You could not brick motherboard just by turning it off. But it is possible that your PSU could cause some trouble when you did so. So first step should be disconnecting all drives, and all unnecessary power cables if PSU is modular before trying again.
