Hello Everyone,

I am new to PC building but consider myself to be pretty tech savvy. My problem is this: I power on my mobo with just 1 stick of RAM installed in the a2 slot like the manual says, have tried other known good RAM also, and when the computer turns on the CPU LED blinks for like .02 sec, then the DRAM light stays lit, and my PC will not display. I have searched numerous forums, including that available on this and on reddit even (This seems to be very similar to my situation)
https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/316aat/troubleshooting_cpu_led_flashes_and_turns_off_but/#bottom-comments
however, I have tried following these troubleshooting steps, and cannot get any display with DVI or with HDMI.

I got frustrated to the point where I removed my Mobo from the case, and all I have plugged in is one stick of RAM, my CPU, my CPU cooler, and the 24pin ATX power cable and the CPU power cable. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, as I am really hoping I don't have any defective parts. I also tried checking the CPU (No Bent Pins), and have moved the 2 RAM sticks I have to all 4 slots, going one stick at a time. My Build is as follows: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/

Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor

Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler

Asus - PRIME Z270-A ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory

Corsair - Force MP500 120GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive

Asus - GeForce GTX 1060 6GB 6GB Dual Video Card (Haven't installed this yet, trying to get onboard graphic display first)

Phanteks P400 Case Standard Edition

Corsair - RMx 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

I appreciate your help. Nub mistake, I hadn't pushed the left side of the RAM all the way in to the point of it clicking into place, was too scared of breaking it. After I figured that out, I was still having the same issue, until I moved the RAM stick to a1 for some reason... which is different than the manual recommends.
