My psu has 2 6+2 pci-e power connectors and my gpu has only 6 pin slots, do I just power it using 6 of the pins on the power connector?

So it is ok to use the 6+2 pin power connector for my psu and also another question my 24 pin power connector won’t go fully to the end it’s only a bit but do you think this is s big deal and I should try force it more just leave it?

Don't expect a perfect fit but with a bit of force you should be able to get it in all the way.

I’ve tried to push it in for probably an hour already but it doesn’t seem to want to go in. I think it’s really tight already though so do you think it’ll be necessary or just see if it works and if it doesn’t leave it?

You should be fine, not gonna fall out or anything.

If it's really bugging you, put your thumb on one side of the top of the connector, pointer finger on other side, other hand's fingers on bottom of motherboard, and push together.
