Does anyone know anything about Biostar's BIOS Virus Protection feature?

I've been finding feedback and all sorts of information about this feature that is part of Biostar's racing series mobo but I can't seem to find any everywhere even in the reviews. So I would like to ask if anyone out there has one of these Biostar mobos that has this feature and could tell me about this feature. In all honesty I hate things sneaking in my PC like viruses exploiting the MBR and stuff like that so I'm really considering this as a solid selling point to me if it really does its job.

That sounds to me to be another name for "Secure Boot" which is a handy way to prevent downloaded software from modifying code during bootup (when anti-virus hasn't been loaded up yet).

I have no idea how to find out if those are common or not, and frankly I wonder if there is actual RELIABLE info out there since by their very nature they can go undetected.

When you install Windows I'm pretty sure this feature must be enabled to work, and can NOT be enabled in the BIOS later without requiring you to reinstall Windows.

BIOSTAR isn't my top choice for motherboards. I tend towards Asus.

*If concerned I think anything with SECURE BOOT should...

Thank you for the information
If it really is secure boot though I wonder how is it legal that they're advertising that in a different name lol
I'll wait out a day before picking the best answer
