Hey, so I'm wanting to build a pc and I don't know where to start with components. It would be for architecture purposes, involving 3d modeling, rendering, and other graphic production as well as some light video editing. Programs I use are Autocad, rhinoceros 5, Revit, 3ds Max, Unreal engine, Adobe photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, premiere, and after effects. I was hoping to spend around $1100-1500 max. Thanks!

Solution
Ryzen 1700 is best bang for the money for your productivity work.
32 gb is good to have, but if you want to cut cost, you can opt for 16gb
NVME ssd is fastest and Samsung is the best
GTX 1070 is 4k editing entry card, good to have too

Let me know if you have any questions.

I presume you would not need a monitor, keyboard or mouse. As such, I have a feeling that the stuff you require this PC for is CPU intensive. As such, a Ryzen 7 1800x would be pretty good for you. With the b350 and the H60, you can reach some OC if you want. The 1070 is in here for when you need it. And it is all below $1500 in total. Includes the OS as well. :)
