fx 9830p w/ 4 cores & 4 threads saying that it has 8 threads

Hello , i buyed a acer nitro 5 laptop with rx 550 and fx 9830p that has 4 cores and 4 threads (i checked on other websites) and when i enter the bios , go on task manager , enter cinnebench 15 the cpu it showes as : AMD FX-9030P RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G. The question is What are the 4 other compute cores , if it has only 4 threads. Sorry for my bad english.

That matches the AMD specs/description: 4 CPU cores and 8 graphics cores. See the FX column at http://www.amd.com/en-gb/products/processors/notebook-tablet/fx-apu; this is the description that should be displayed.

But on evrey application i enter it shows that it has 4 cores and 4 threads.

It has 4 CPU cores; therefore it shows 4 threads. Since your laptop includes a discrete GPU, only the CPU is used; the GPU (8 GC cores) is not used. That doesn't change the description of your APU; it still is an AMD FX-9030P RADEON R7, 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G.
