CPU: i5-4460
MoBo: ASUS-H97M-E
RAM: 8GB
PSU: Seasonic G-550W
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 (6GB) G1 Gaming

Running Fortnite for "Epic" (ultra) settings @ 1080p, is this 77 degrees Celsius normal?

Solution
With ambient temp of 22 degree celsius, this card reaches about 70 without thermal pads. Your card has thermal pads and your ambient temps are 30, so your temps of 77 is fine. Actually, the card will go upto 82 before it maintains that temp by throttling down a little bit. So, dont worry and enjoy gaming. My Zotac 1060 keeps hitting 82 all the time and I have no issues with performance or longetivity of the card as 82 is defined by the company as safe temp and the technology doesn't let it go beyond that.

That depends of your country temperature.
I have a msi 1060 6gb (max temp 65Cº) 30-32 Cº on my country
77Cº is not so hot
you can always change your fan curve using mas aftrbuner!

Hope it help

Oh really? that's a relief, by the way, how to know if my Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming (rev. 2.0) has Thermal Pads?

Because all mass produced 1060 cars from Gigabyte have them. I pointed that out because the review unit did not have one and the article mentions that Gigabyte put the thermal pads in the final released cards based on their feedback. :)

I have the same graphics card and never has ever exceeded 65 degrees, under load of approximately 60, 62 at the factory settings of the fan. The problem is probably in the case or in the ventilators. I put 2. 120 mm from the front slightly lower than the suction and for exhaust I use 1. 120mm behind and 1. 120 mm upstairs up to the top of the housing! I'm so glad I did not have any problems in the summer heat!
