Only Steam Games Crash my computer, but other games dont....

It only seems that steam games crash my computer. (Deceit, Rust, etc...) But Non-Steam games like League of Legends, Hearthstone, Minecraft, etc... dont. I've scoured the internet for options but I'm all out of ideas. Help?

Mate, Im struggling from the exact same problem with no solution so far, i was able to play battlegrounds for a couple hours about 3 days ago after buying it and since havent been able to open the steam client for more than 20 seconds without it crashing my pc. All other games work though, League works perfectly fine...

Exactly... I can stream on twitch, play League of Legends, play music on Spotify, and have discord open no problem. But the moment I open up Rust my computer completely crashes with no BSOD or anything.

I’ve just reset my pc which has taken about 4 hours and I am currently reinstalling steam games and league at the moment, haven’t had a crash yet and praying I don’t over night. Would consider doing it as a last resort but if you’re desperate for a fix then so far it’s the only one I’ve came across

Actually I've already reset my computer. I reinstalled windows 7 and completely wiped the hard drive.

this is happening to mee too!It first occured to me yesterday.i noticed that if i launch steam offline it wont crash my pc.
