Standoffs are not very tight when fit on case

I have purchased this case (from a friend)

and this set of screws for standoff

I notice that when I install the standoffs into the case, the standoffs feel a little loose and they are not tightly fit into the case. I believe this will be a huge problem because the case will move and can even fall off.

The question is how do I order standoffs which really fit? is there a size specification which would help me order standoffs which tightly fit into the case?

That case has built in standoffs, the only reason you'd need an extra is if you try to install a Mini ITX mobo.

I got my case from a friend so I guess he took the preinstalled ones out. How do I buy aftermarket standoffs which highly fit into the case?

When I say built in, I mean built in. Can you take a picture of the area you are trying to install these standoffs into please?

#6-32 is the standoff size and screw size, the ones you bought are M3.

these are the standard ones, they take standard hard drive type mounting screws

However since you bought a box with M3 screws in it, you can use these to work with the screws you bought
