Hello,
i have installed 4 RAM sticks into my MB, in total 8GB DDR2 (old PC), but when i boot up the system, it only shows 5GB(5119MB to be exact). I tried changing them in slots, tried to remove one or more. It didnt do anything. I also tried to set the maximum amount of usable RAM in msconfig, but it only made it worse, because then it was showing 4GB instead of 5GB. So i went back to msconfig and saw that the setting was changed from 8120MB to 1024MB. I don't know however it didn't help. Is there another way how to fix this? How to make my PC recognize the RAM i have installed (8GB) instead of 5? It's very frustrating :(
