I saw that in games ryzen goes for maxim 10fps lower than the i5, but in multitasking the ryzen just beats the shit outta i5 and it is more futureproof for games cuz of the 6cores 12threads (while the i5 has got 4c-4t). Is it true? Should I go for the ryzen?
I'm buying it with gtx 1070, 8gb ram 2400mhz and Corsair CX650 80+ Bronz 650W

Unless you are planning to overclock, most motherboards from first-tier manufacturers qualify as good enough.

Performance-wise, since Ryzen's performance is highly dependent on memory/fabric clock, you'd be better off with a Ryzen 1600 and 3000MT/s RAM. Ryzen is very picky about memory, make sure the motherboard you get has the AGESA 1.0.0.6 or newer update pre-installed and that the RAM you get is on the motherboard's QVL.

If the highest possible frame rates in games your highest priority, then the i5 is usually the best option. If substantial multi-tasking is more representative of your everyday use, then the 1600(X) is a better choice.

It is all relative to your priorities.

I dont usually do multitasking..i mostly play pubg or csgo but i dont want my pc move slow if i have google playing music while im playing pubg and other stuff opened on desktop. I just heard that 6 cores and 12 threads are the way to go for the next 3-4 years and i dont rly know what to do. What would u do if u were me? I told u i mostly play games..i dont record or edit videos but i want future proof from this processor.

Idk what u understand through enthusiast..but lets say that on work days i game 3hrs and at the weekend i game like 6hrs per day..maybe more..maybe less sometimes. The most important thing is that i want future proof. I wanna use this pc for 4 years. Gtx 1070, ryzen 1600x, 16gb ram 2400mhz...and one last question: is b350 tomahawk a good mobo for these components?
