just did a fresh windows install on my new m.2 samsung ssd and my sound card is not detected under device manager. motherboard was updated to the newest version.

my motherboard is an asus maximus ranger vii z97 and the m.2 was a new thing at the time so im not sure if there is some interference or setup needed...

HD Audio controller is disabled
Fast Boot is disabled.
Sound card removed and re-seated. still not detecting
tried to install drivers but it said something like no hardware found.

*1: The PCIe 2.0 x 16 slot (PCIEX4_3) shares bandwith with PCIe 2.0 x1 and M.2 slot. The default setting is Auto Mode, which automatically optimizes the system bandwidth. If you install a PCIe 2.0 x4 device, the system will automatically detect and disable PCIe 2.0 x1 and M.2 slot.
