The tv was connected to the laptop(HP envy x360 m6 with Intel he 620) when the tv screen went black. It kept saying no signal but the sound still works. The tv also used to be named Panasonic th-46pz80u under device manager but now it just shows 2 generic pnp monitor(one of them is the laptop screen itself in guessing). I've tried uninstalling the Intel hd drivers. I also tried rebooting and resetting(did the delete everything option) under Windows recovery.

Also the HDMI output was working fine for months.

Solution
First i would isntall the HP branded Intel HD drivers, yes, it's worth a shot.

To uninstall the Fall Creators Update, go to Start > Settings and click on Update & Security.
Click the Recovery link on the left and then click on Get started under 'Go back to the previous version of Windows 10.'

Try rolling back the update and see if it comes back, likely will.
Also before you do that, see if the driver from HP for that model corrects the problem, a lot of laptops use semi custom drivers instead of the stock drivers.

I reset the laptop and when Windows was installing I think it updated right away. How do i roll back Windows updates?

As for the hp drivers, do you mean the Intel hd drivers from hp?
