Hey guys, I just picked up two used GTX 1080ti's and when I went to go connect them, they both have a 6 + 8 pin connectors. The 6 pin is a PCI-E, but the 8 pin is a CPU cable (EPS-12). ????!

Did I get scammed? Is this legit?

UPDATE: I took the card apart and these were 100% fake cards. Empty on the inside. Please beware. Pictures below.

Solution
PCIE can be 6 pins and 6+2 = 8 pins:

I totally agree. Look real close at my picture. These cards have an 8 pin CPU connection instead of a Pcie. I can grab a CPU cable from my EVGA power supply and it slides right in. Pcie cables won't fit.

Understood. Sorry for your loss. That is truly unfortunate. You could report to the police and take legal action.

Dude! I got scammed by the same seller, <<alleged perp's name(s) removed, refer to link>> scammed me by never giving me the tracking number for shipping, he is in the wind, so I filed a police report on him in Hamilton. Hopefully, the police will catch this guy and help return the money back to the victims of his fraud.

The updated info on the scammer is here, not my post though.
