My friend needs to redownload drivers for his motherboard (since his network drivers that control his internet got messed up somehow causing windows 10 to not detect his network drivers)
He doesn't have the disc the motherboard came with that has all the drivers so I'm having him get a thumb drive and he's going to use a different computer to slap CPUZ onto the thumb drive to get his motherboard's model and then we're gonna have him install the drivers onto that usb from the different computer
Problem is, his computer uses windows 10 and the other computer he's using to get the drivers and CPUZ application off of is using windows 7.
So I'm wondering, are windows 7 applications compatible with 10? If he were to download the cpuz and a driver installer program from the mobo's manfucatuerer onto the usb using windows 7 would it be compatible on windows 10?
