Possible to have two different nVidia GPUs in the same machine?

I have a GTX 950 GPU which is adequate for gaming and an integrated GPU which supports additional monitors but I want to connect some more monitors and to do this I am considering the nVidia Quadro NVS 450 which is pretty cheap (<£25). Someone on the nVidia forum said that you can't have two different GPUs in the same machine because the last driver to be installed overrides the other but this seems wrong to me. My nVidia 950 and integrated Intel graphics chip work alongside each other and it seems incredible to me that nVidia could be so incompetent that they can't write drivers which don't interfere with each other. I was hoping someone could confirm or deny this. Thanks!

It turns out that for nVidia, at least, it's not possible to run more than one driver; the last driver to be installed will indeed override the previous one. If I want a reasonably-priced card to support an additional four monitors, I will need to get one from a different manufacturer (Matrox M-series cards seem like they will do and are still getting driver updates for Windows 10).
