Hello
Im having problem with my configuration.
I had problems with random BSOD encounters usually after the OS boot up, when Desktop icons loads up. I thought it was OS driver related problem...
...nonetheless....
Recently i purchased
ADATA SU700 120GB SSD
Sapphire RX560 2GB GDDR5

I mount them in the case and started new Windows 10 installation but i had random problems like cannot read from the source. Initial installation goes to 100% and resets back.

Bad RAM modules was first cause od problem in my mind. I've unplugged them and tested each one of them with Prime95 then Memtest86 then Windows Memory diagnostics. ZERO ERRORS

i've returned them to the original problematic configuration but another problem occurred. No Picture, Fans spinning There's power trough the board but nothing on the monitor... PC works like that 20-30secs and restarts itself but no picture.
I've changed RAM modules with another one from my friend... Now display shows up but so its BSOD here.
OMG.. im starting to freaking out here. Next to my mind changing the board with another one which i did. Returned my original 2X4GB RAM sticks. It works fine but still BSOD.
Crap. PSU is next.. Purchased new PSU same model like the old one. Nope Still BSOD.

Finally i've fixed with lowering the Memory Mhz in BIOS settings... lowered the multiplier from 10 to 8... RAM went from 1333Mhz to 1066Mhz.
Now i dont have random BSODs..... just once computer freeze itself so i had to hard reset.

What is the cause of this problem?

To sum it up
Tested RAM on another PC - No problem
2 motherboards - Problem persisted
3 Diferent RAM modules - Problem persisted
Switched PSU with a new one, same model but new - Problem still occurs

DISCLAIMER
All variation have been tried... with unpluged GPU SSD HDD DVD... no intefierence from other peripherials.

Why is now with lowered Mhz everything OK ?!?!?!?

If RAM modules are bad.. HOW CAN 3 DIFERENT BE BAD??!?!
If its PSU not enough power, how its the same problem with everything unpluged. With less than 100W power usage on a new PSU??!?!

Yes i tried that too

Can It Be????! But i have absolutely no problems even on 100% CPU usage...
Bad CPU is the least i could expect.... i mean i haven't seen a broken CPU since AMD Athlon 1Ghz fried on the board due to bad cooling.
God... could i be that unfortunate :p

Is that fixing the problem or is your computer still not working?

The reason I suggested the CPU as the culprit is because you have replaced literally everything except it. Not my first guess either, but it seems to be the only thing left that hasn't been replaced.

I fixed my computer before I even opened this thread.
As I said I lowered RAM frequencies from 1333Mhz to 1066Mhz and BSOD problems and all other problems simply disappeared.
Thing is I don't know what was the cause of all errors?!
Checked RAM modules all appear OK
Changed Mainboard
Changed PSU
So yeah CPU in all those situations was the same...

I meant does your computer now work normally at 1333MHz, or does it still require a downclock to function properly. Either way, if all it takes is a slight downclock on the RAM to fix the issues, it's worth it.
