So, I have a pretty old, not great PC. I'm playing Divinity Original Sin 2 on it, and for the most part, it runs okay. However, whenever there's fire, lightning, or other special fx, it really bogs the system down... and there's some fights with major field effects like this.
So, I don't have a ton of cash, but I'd like to give my system just a little boost so that it can handle those scenes without stuttering so badly. I'm just not sure what would give me the most bang for my buck. I'm hoping the community here will have some advice. Here's my system info:
Windows 10
Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.6GHz
AMD Radeon R7 240 2GB
1 TB Hard Drive
8 GB DDR3 Memory
