Okay so here's the thing, I have a Hp laptop 14" Notebook, i got an error on my screen one day saying that my HDD had no operating system installed so i opened it up checked the HDD cable everything fine but well my Hard Drive was totally dead, so i took it out and i saw that it had the normal SATA cable but there was no power component on it just simply the sata cable entrance, at home i had a spare HDD But this one did have a power component to power up the HDD, so im wondering
If i use this spare HDD that i have will it work with my laptop as is or do i have to make an adaption to my laptop to make it work?
Old Hdd: Z5K500-500 Any help and or suggetions?
