Hi, I have never installed an SSD before in my new desktop and its not the installing that's the biggest problem I have an enquiry about loading it up.I already have a 2 TB HDD in my system with windows 10 on it and I want to install the SSD as another part of my storage for gaming etc. I want to know whether or not I need to install windows 10 on the SSD as well as already having it.
Thanks for reading.

If you're using it as a secondary drive, it does NOT need (nor want) an OS on it.
It will just be another drive letter.

But for optimal performance, you want to have the OS on the SSD, and boot from that instead of the HDD.
This can be a complex procedure, depending on how your current system is set up.

If you plan in keeping your 2 TB HDD as your Windows drive and just install your SSD as a secondary drive, then you need to do nothing but connect it in to your system and windows will pick it up and let you use it, assigning it a new drive letter.
