My pc's hardware is as follows
i5 4440
Rx 580 8gb
8 gb ddr3
2x 7.2k hard drives
2x dvd drives
Pci wifi card

My power supply is the CX 500

Is my pc overloading the power supply?
Should I be worried about this and buy a new power supply as soon as possible?
Is my pc at risk of being fried?

Solution
No, it's not at risk of being fried. Not a great power supply but not a firestarter either. You are probably slightly under the capacity you'd like to see, and have a mediocre quality power supply, but I probably wouldn't worry about it unless you start seeing problems.

Maybe start thinking about another, better unit now, so that you'll either have one when that time comes or can just replace it sooner to avoid it altogether. In the mean time, what you have will work fine until then.

Close call, but it should be fine. Corsair is pretty reputable so no worries. Why do you have two DVD drives thou? Its 2017. You can also search for psu calculator on Google to check for yourself

I have multiple DVD drives too. Well, one external Blu ray and one external DVD. Makes it easier to copy various things to disk, make backups of important discs (Since optical media isn't reliable past about 5-7 years) and in case I want to use one for something media related while working with the other one for data purposes. There are plenty of people in 2017 that still use optical drives.

They may not be as popular as they used to be with flash drive capacities being what they are today but they are certainly not dead yet.
