I'm trying to record gameplay of overwatch, dragon ball xenoverse etc... to use as background video in my youtube commentaries. When i record using OBS, i am losing frames and it's a bit laggy. It's not too terrible but it's not as smooth as i want it. Is it a ram issue? Do i need more ram?Could you please help me. Here are my specs below:

Solution
There's no simple solution for recording on the same PC that you're playing on without some sort of performance loss. It requires resources needed for game play be redirected toward the recording of that game play.

Your best bet for reducing the recording overhead is probably going to be using Shadowplay. If you can live with what NVIDIA offers in that regard, you should have the least impact to your game play.
