Nobody is "King" really. There are good and bad choices from almost every memory brand and manufacturer. Unlike a lot of other components, where this doesn't always hold true, usually with RAM you actually DO pretty much get what you pay for and memory is definitely at an ALL time high right now. Historically I've never seen memory prices as high as they are across the board right now. There's really NOT any cheap RAM out there currently. It's all either expensive or very expensive.

Might even be worth looking at used DDR3 considering the inflated costs.

We'd really need to know what you have though to know what speed, voltage and capacity is supported by your hardware.
What is the EXACT model number of your prebuilt system? If there is an express service tag or identification number that would be helpful too.

Usually these have identification stickers on them either on the side or back with model, sub model or service tag numbers listed.

Samsung EVO series SSD is the most popular these days. It has excellent performance metrics and provides excellent price to performance ratio for SSDs upto 500GB. WD follows.

As for RAM, Gskill, Corsair, Crucial etc. are kings. If you could post your complete PC specs, we can help you getting the exact RAM. A link to your PC site will be very helpful.
