i am after a new gaming rig but as with all things , i am on a budget .. i have added a link to to what i might want , needing a bit of advice as to which one is the best , they are all similarly priced . The base unit i have has done me well for the past 5 years but i bought Wolfenstein the New colossus and the game crashed , checked with bethesda and my base unit simply isn't powerful enough , i am not really techy minded ( into my 50's now) so buying component parts is not really an option ...any advice would be great as i don't want to make an expensive mistake ..thanks in advance

I am not capable of building a pc ...getting a list of the parts could be an option but the easiest for me would be a pre built unit , I've looked into it but ultimately I find it a bit confusing as to what to get :(

Pre-built gaming rigs are easy to find just about anywhere. What's hard to find is one on a budget.
You need to understand pre-built mentality. The company is out to make a profit. To do that and still afford to pay secretaries, overhead, advertising, labor, shipping, inventory, the light bill and storage etc you buy a £500 pc and they charge you £1000. A Ryzen 7 1700 is a workhorse cpu, paired with a 1050ti makes a good rendering/editing box, not so much a gamer. A Ryzen 1500x with a 1060 makes a better gamer but is limited in performance by measly 2133MHz ram. They've cut costs everywhere and added to your price. Nice looking builds for sure, but not worth the money.

Hi,

I would say go with Blackfire Viper. It has all what you need to gaming at 1080 and 1440dp.
- 1060 6gb GPU
- Quad-Core -> 8-threads at 3.7k speed
- 16GB ram
- SSD 1TB

Moreover, with 3 fans in the front and 1 in the back = better airflow and low temps (GPU and CPU).

If you go through the configuration, you'll find that they use Aerocool psus, which are the next best thing to junk, reference nvidia gpus not a decent aftermarket partner card, no option other than 2133MHz ram, so loose out on @20% performance there etc. It's all show and no go pc. Looks very good, but I'd not trust that psu as far as my almost 50yr old arm could throw it. The offered Dell is much superior and I believe comes with 24hr tech support.
