I found that GTX 1070 GAMING X 8G I would like to know if this graphics card will be compatible with my GA 78LMT-USB3 motherboard.

CPU AMD FX-6300
My Power Supply Turbo-x 550W

Your current CPU is pretty weak and will bottleneck both the 1060 and 1070. Nothing bad will happen, you just might not get the full performance out of your card.

At any rate, I would recommend getting a higher quality PSUs to support those cards as well. Turbo-X series seems to be a very value oriented series, which means the quality is poor. It would probably run either of these cards, but its integrity is questionable at best at that rate.

I'm also pretty sure I wouldn't want to power a $400 GPU with a "Turbo-X" PSU. Unless, of course, my fetish was continually buying new $400 GPUs. Same goes with the $250 GPU. The 450W version of this line is actually a 300W with horrid Chinese capacitors and I doubt the 550W of this off-brand will be any better.

dont go higher than a gtx 1050 ti


save the money for a complete new setup, either ryzen or intel


a gtx 1070 would be utterly a waste of money and would likely get destroyed by that power supply
